Finding Peace in Chaos

Three points from Rom 5:1-11:

1. Despite chaos in life, when we are justified by faith, we can have peace. You may not feel it as you should today, but you can have it. We have hope knowing there is more than this life. If you don't have peace, know that you can have it. There is something so much better than this world in the world to come.

2. We have been brought into unity with God, which our sin broke, by the blood of Jesus. Jesus paid the penalty for us. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. This demonstrates God's love for us.

3. As a result, we live a different kind of life. We see what He did for us and we are led to repent, we are led to change our lives, to turn towards Him.

If you need help with that turning of your life, with that change, we are here to help with that. Romans 6 tells us how to start. You are buried with Him in baptism and when you rise from the watery grave, you are a new creature, forever changed to live your life for Him, a new life.

That's where your peace comes from.
