We are an independent body of Christians striving to follow the model of the church that Jesus declared He would build.  The blueprint of that church starts in Acts 2, on the Day of Pentecost. As the church spread and the apostles took the Word to the whole world, they set up practices every church followed in the first century. We are a group that simply follows the example of Christ and the teachings found in the Bible.
