Just two words to stick with us. They bring us hope when believe we’ve reached the end. But God!
Psalm 73:26. “… is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Asaph said his flesh and his heart may fail but God is the strength of his heart and his portion forever. Do you see the perspective that brings?
1 Cor. 10:13 – “… is faithful.” I can win. I can overcome.
Acts 13:30 – “.. raised him from the dead.”
Rom. 5:8: “…demonstrates His love for us.”
Eph. 2:4-6: You were dead in your trespasses and sins….. .. being rich in mercy because of His great love which He loves us even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
The enemy doesn’t get the last word nor do your circumstances, not even disease and death. God will have the last word. It is always, but God.
Genesis 50. The story of Joseph. Verse 20. “You meant evil against me but God meant it for good.”
Isaiah 40. “But He merely blows on them and they wither”, verse 24.
31: but those who wait on the Lord shall gain strength, they will mount up with wings like eagles, shall run and not get tired…”
“Yet know… “. Ecc. 11:9-11. ….”That God will bring you to judgment for all of these things.” There is a “but God” at the end of all the choices we make.
Never waver.
God is.
But God…
Two words that:
Should shape your view of the world
Affect your behavior
And encourage complete confidence in Him
